Deb Meyer is a globally produced playwright whose works include The Whole Shebang, Dastardly Devon, Curses! A Fractured Fairies’ Tale, Cobble Me This, and Lyin’ Earl and the Shiny Blue Pearls. Her plays have been performed internationally, and her published works are available through Lazy Bee Scripts and Big Dog Plays.
A Madison, Wisconsin–area writer with more than 25 years of storytelling experience, Deb writes the kind of plays community theaters, schools and family audiences love to produce — fractured fairy tales, warm-hearted comedies, holiday shows with wit, and the occasional twist-filled thriller. She has directed her own work, including Curses! A Fractured Fairies’ Tale and Cobble Me This, at the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre.
Her short comedy Gurl Talk won the 2024 Florida Playwrights Competition, and her full-length thriller The Whole Shebang was a semi-finalist in the 2021 Garry Marshall Theatre New Works Festival.
